The town of Tepoztlan is located on the slopes of the Tepozteco mountain in a beautiful valley surrounded by beautiful mountains, in the state of Morelos, in Mexico. Our weather is pleasant and fantastic most of the year, despite the spectacular thunderstorms we have in the rainy season.

Tepoztlan is known to be a healing center with a very special energy, and was given the recognition of “Magical Town”. The magical towns are considered special towns for their rich roots, symbolic attributes, legends and history. It is known for its colorful festivities, parades and carnival that are lived and celebrated with enthusiasm by the Tepoztecans and visitors alike.

The town of Tepoztlan is full of traditional markets, crafts, and charming shops that give visitors a true taste of the magical Mexican towns. Despite the important presence of pre-colonial indigenous culture, the Spanish influence of Tepoztlan adds beauty and charm. The churches are some of the oldest in Mexico and their architectural styles are magnificent.

The vast majority of fruits and vegetables are found in the main market of Tepoztlán. We also recommend for grocery items, the Rolando store near the Huilotepec junction. Or on the road to Tepoztlán the del Valle grocery store located on the road to Tepoztlán before reaching the soccer fields, there you can find all the basic products. On Saturdays the market on Wheels of Huilotepec is placed, which we have very close reaching the junction with the Yautepec / Tepoztlán highway.

There is an organic market that is organized on Fridays behind the municipal soccer fields that are on the road to Tepoztlan.
